Film Wallets

Many film wallets have a similar typeface printed on one side from a printer's plate like the one above which apparently was supplied by Kodak. Individual dealers, however, often used designs from local artists on the other face. Nearly all of these showed women with cameras.

There is tremendous variation in film wallets found across the U.S. and all over the world. Sadly, I know of no processing labs today with such carefully designed graphics. You can check out some interesting non-Kodak film wallets in the Ephemera section of this site.
This film wallet from Seneca Falls New York uses the identical Kodak typeface as the one above from Deluth, Minnesota.
