Child photographers were a favorite theme of commercial stereocard publishers.

"The Young Photographer", published by F.G. Weller of Littleton New Hampshire, and "entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1871."

The four little Victorian girls are playing photographer with a make believe camera.

"Taking a View for You and U"-the caption refers to the stereo's distributor, Underwood & Underwood.
