Bears as Photo Ops


These bear snapshots and photo postcards, collected separately, had to go together so I'm giving them their own page.

Here are a few modern day bear rules gleaned from various sites on the web:
  • Never approach a bear.
  • Keep a distance of at least 100 metres.
  • Avoid eye contact and back away slowly.
  • If you see fresh signs of bears (scat, prints) leave area immediately
Luckily, these intrepid (or foolish?) women semed to have escaped with their photos.
