Tintype
from the
Nakki Goranin Collection

Nakki Goranin is a Vermont photographer as well as a collector of photography. She writes, "Collecting historical images is one of my deep passions. Several years ago, I Iearned how to work with collodion for tintypes and ambrotypes and have done several workshops at the George Eastman House. I was an artist in residence for years with the Vermont Council on the Arts, and have a permanent show of my work in one of the State Buildings. I also adore images of photographers with cameras. I'm always interested in talking to other photographers, especially those with an interest in photohistory."
