Automobile Ad

The ad above is for a 5 passenger Dort Touring car. The ad is undated but must be from around 1918 as it states, "War time calls for economy--Luxuries should be put aside---Automobiles are a necessity--Sound judgment dictates the consideration of cost and upkeep.

Four of the five passengers are women, including one with a camera photographing her friend in a blue-striped dress. Was this a nod to the Kodak Girl? Apparently a camera was a permissible necessity during wartime.
