| Unlike 99% of all stereoviews which were
professionally photographed and published, this wonderful double-sided
card was an amateur production. On one side (above) a woman holds a camera
with a horse and buggy in the background. Her friend on the left seems
to be holding a whip. On the other side (below) six women dance with each other accompanied by a man strumming on an unusual stringed instrument. Judging by the length of the women's dresses, this is probably a late 19th century card. |
